LifePoint LIVE - December 16, 2007 - Royce Wilson and Family Rock LifePoint!

Posted on: December 17, 2007 by Donavon Hill Related Categories: royce wilson

I'm blogging a day late.  I've been in "absorbtion mode" - there's just been so much to take in.  Last night was phenomenal!  The stage was surrounded by Christmas poinsettas and we even had some Christmas lights and a big bow draped around the drums.  Because nothing says "Merry Christmas" like decorated drums!  As I welcomed everyone to the Gathering, Russell interrupted me.  Can you believe it?  He interrupted The Donavon! He said some really, really nice stuff and then presented Valerie and me with a Chritmas gift from LifePoint - what a blessing!  Thank you all!  We love you deeply!

The worship team was led by Wesley Barber and jammed!  They started with Steve Fee's, "All Because of Jesus".  By the time they got to "Word of God Speak", the Presence of God was so thick - to the hungry, He was incredibly obvious!  It was one of those services:  Some spontaneously dropped to their knees, others cried, hands were raised, hearts were opened!  It was powerful!

We had planned on doing a couple of Christmas dittys but they would have to wait - it was time to get into the Word!  Royce Wilson was with us, along with his lovely wife, Deanne, and their three beautiful children, McKinzie, Zachary and Sydney.  Before Royce began to minister, it was ON!  And God used Royce in those next few moments to encourage LifePoint like nobody's business!  He said LifePoint is a "candlestick" placed here by God and it will not be moved!  He went on for about forty-five more minutes, edifying us corperately and individually.  It was so specific to where we have been AND to where we are going!  It was a night of confirmation and direction!  What a Christmas gift, eh?

Thank you Royce and family!  You rock and you will return!

Peace, love and merry Christmas!
