Albany, New York - OASIS @ Camp Pinnacle - Fun, powerful, moving, exciting - MORE SNOW!
Posted on: February 23, 2008 by Well, I'm here again in New York. Right now, I'm at Camp Pinnacle outside of Albany, New York. Several churches get together each year for a mid-winter retreat they call OASIS. I've participated in OASIS for the last couple of years and I love it! The youth are a blast and God always shows up!
We got about 6-inches of snow yesterday which powdered the snow-tubing hill (I didn't snow tube this year - I played volleyball instead). It's a winter wonderland and reminds me of Killington, Vermont where Val and I were just a few weeks ago. Mitch and Rose Spring are the onsite pastors running the retreat and we're having a blast and eating lots of junk!
