LifePoint LIFT was pretty cool tonight.  We had a lot of laughs, some prayer and worship.  The worship had a sweetness to it, a real depth.  Nothing was contrived. 

I believe God showed me something to share with LifePoint.  We're in our If My People... series based on 2 Chronicles 7:14 and we were looking at the "seek my face" part of that verse.  I realized the different parts of this verse are successively built on each other.  I used the analogy of a building.  Humility is the first story.  Built on that is the second story, prayer.  Built on that is the third story, seeking God's face.  Then, built on that is the fourth story, turning from our wicked ways.  Without humility, there can be no true prayer.  Without true prayer, there can be no seeking His face.  Without all three of these, there can be no turning from our wicked ways.

We were all challenged to seek His face!  This is a critical part of restoration and personal victory over our flesh!  Like I said, it was pretty cool!

Remember LifeREACH this Saturday at 10 AM.  We'll meet at the church and go from there!
